Hi, I’m Dianne

A seeker of transformative experiences, I began my journey in ​the Bluegrass of Kentucky before discovering my passion for theater at Vanderbilt University. My adventurous spirit led me to co-manage a dinner theater with my first husband John, where I developed a versatile skill set spanning creative direction, design, and business management. Never one to shy from challenges, I conquered my fears to become a scuba diver and pilot, even living aboard a boat in the Bahamas—where swimming with ​sharks and later, humpback whales provided profound spiritual insights. Throughout these adventures, I embraced the rewarding complexity of blended family life.

When intuition called me to a new chapter in 2000, I reunited with Ken, my high school sweetheart. A powerful Reiki experience during this transition awakened my healing abilities, leading to comprehensive training with ​Reiki Master ​Teacher Laurelle Gaia. This culminated in ​creating The Pink Dolphin Bed & Breakfast and Reiki Healing Center—a sanctuary where the dolphin’s intuitive healing energy mirrored my approach to helping others connect with their inner wisdom.​ Over the past 22 years, I’ve dedicated myself to teaching Reiki, mentoring international students, and developing numerous courses on chakras and awakening consciousness.

Today, embodying the Taoist principle of “going with the flow,” Ken and I sail aboard Wu Wei with our three Labradors, balancing adventure with my continued commitment to healing work. My journey reflects my core values: courage to chart unconventional paths, openness to life’s lessons, and dedication to helping others access their heart’s wisdom through Reiki—work I joyfully continue regardless of where ocean currents may lead us.
