Where we came from and where we are going

A Dimension, by definition, is a measurement or component of an object or concept. All physical objects in our current reality are describes in 3 dimensions – length, width and height. There is absolutely no-thing that I can see or touch that can’t be quantified by these three dimensions. Sound, although it cannot be seen or touched, is still measured by the height, length and width of its wavelength. So, here at the beginning, I asked you to consider that everything in your reality is subconsciously evaluated and cataloged by its dimensions. It’s actually a bit mind-blowing to think about! Just look around you and know that in every second, this process is occurring for every object you are seeing right now. Fortunately, you are completely unaware of this process which is as it should be, as it would be overwhelming.
So dimensions are extremely important when it comes to evaluating, understanding and relating to the world around us. They are the measuring stick of our experience. And when our mind cannot use these measurements on something that comes into our experience, we begin to question it’s existence. The adage, “Seeing is believing” reflects this truth. People have lived by this truth for thousands of years. So it’s completely understandable that changing that belief would be nearly impossible and ‘nearly’ is the key.
When I first heard the word dimensions used in a more cosmic context, I thought it meant that it existed outside of planet earth. It seemed that higher dimensions must be more like science fiction, and it would only be possible to go to other dimensions if you had extra powers. It was certainly not a place where ordinary people would be welcomed. Quite frankly, I hadn’t changed that belief, well, I hadn’t even considered the need to change that belief until a couple of years ago. I was speaking to a group of students about the ascension of mankind when an inner voice said “Yep! Next stop is the Fifth Dimension”. I thought, what does that really mean? How do I describe this to others? How do I put words around the knowing that’s inside me? My personal technique for this kind of dilemma is to bring it down to its simpliest form. If I’m living in the third dimension and going to the fifth, what happened to the fourth dimension? What exactly was the first and second? The following is the information that was shared with me via my inner voice. This is not scientific and comes purely from the Divine. I have no resource to substantiate it. I offer it as a perspective that has helped many to understand where we came from and where we are going.
1st Dimension
In the Beginning, there was only Spirit, the Oneness that is complete unto itself. The One is aware of itself but there is no ability to ‘understand’ itself because there is nothing outside the One. This is pure consciousness, without thought, information or experience. In this dimension, there is no expansion, for there is no mechanism in place for creation/expansion. Time and space do not exist in the first dimension.
It’s as difficult to perceive this dimension from a 3rd dimension point of view, as it is to perceive higher dimensions of reality. In order to help you, I am using a simple quantifying analogy here, as if we could actually observe it from the 3rd Dimension. The concept is simple, but our minds like to complicate.
As the 3D observer, look at it from the side, we would see only a dot.

If we could move 90 degrees around it and observe it from that side, we would see
a flat, straight line.

The line would be infinite, with no beginning and no end. One dimension – length.
I observed that this dimension is very similar in nature to the Quanta, that tiny packet that hold infinite potential energy to become anything in the physical world. The Quanta is the mechanism that makes physical creation possible and we will discuss this further in the chapter discussing Law of Attraction and Quantum Physics.
Perhaps, when the One was inspired to expand its experience of itself, it created a likeness of itself to be the Quanta. Our physical bodies and our physical world are all composed of only these tiny quanta, vibrating at millions of different frequencies to appear as eyes, clothes, homes and loved ones. It’s so amazing! The One is within us all!
2nd Dimension
Spirit asked “Who am I” and an energy of Love burst forth into the void. This was the beginning of experience through expression as the 2nd dimension came into existence. The addition of the 2nd dimension – width – created duality because the infinite length was forced to become finite. This sad but necessary occurrence of duality now enables the One to experience itself. Without duality, it would be like living in a world without mirrors or any form of reflection. You would not be able to see yourself or to know what you look like in any way. The 2nd dimension was very temporary as there was not ‘space’ to expand within this dimension and it was passed through very quickly.
To view this as the 3D observer again, the dimension of width is added to length
From a side point of view, we see the flat, straight line as in the 1st Dimension

However, looking down from above (or below), we see a flat square.
There is an interesting occurrence here. A square has now taken the place of the dot and, with that shift, Consciousness has now encountered limitation and begins to lose its awareness of itself as the One. A sacred place in the subconscious is formed here to hold that self awareness. It is that sacred place that preserved the infinite One to be re-member in the Fifth Dimension. We can now see how important this 2nd dimension is to the evolution of Spirit but very little, if any, data can be obtained here, so Spirit still has no ability to expand.
3rd Dimension
Finally, we are at the dimension we know very well… or do we? Let look at the diagram first.
We now have 3 dimensions – length, width and height
As the 3 D observer, when we look down on it, we see the flat square again.
And the observation from the side is now a cube
In this dimension, a box is formed – The collector! Now we are fully in duality; and now we have a place to collect all the data through our experiences, thanks to the creation of duality. The box represents the container but also represents the limitations of the container. Most of the data collected by the experiences are held in the subconscious. The self awareness is still there (at the bottom, in its sacred space) but now we have piled all the data we collect on top of it. It’s pretty easy to see why we have felt so separated from our Spirit.
Our journey to Enlightenment has mostly been about digging into this pile, sorting it, filing it, analyzing it, moving the pile from one side of the box to the other. We have placed a lot of importance to this data or pile of “___”. And, yes, in the process we have been expanding…. But we still have limitation. We’re still is the box. We have stayed in this dimension for a very long time. We needed lots of time as we have a VERY BIG box to fill!
We have gotten pretty comfortable with these 3 dimensional boxes. We’re very comfortable with piling more and more data in our box. So comfortable that we don’t see any reason to look beyond them. Then, one day, the box is so incredibly full that we are drowning in our data. In this analog, we are reaching this time, when we are must make a choice – to be pushed out of the box or to drown in it. What a Divine Plan, to create the box that would be the catalyst to move us into the next dimension!
4th Dimension
This is the dimension we are actually moving through right now. As we go up the dimensional ladder, we go into another ‘twilight zone’. The first 3 dimensions are the foundation we build upon. We add to this foundation, not leave it.
The Fourth Dimension is the process of uncovering the Divine One (the sacred place at the bottom of the box) by the process of removing the data from the box. If you are reading this, YOU are in that process. Much like the 2nd dimension, we move through the 4th but we don’t want to linger here too long.
It is possible to get stuck here. To continue the analogy, it’s not uncommon to remove a great deal of data from the box and suddenly, feeling the emptiness, a fear or loss caused us to start analyzing and judging ourselves again, filling the box with data until we feel comfortable. It’s a process we all must go through many times. The caution is to not become so attached to the process (comfortable in its own way) that we are caught in a dimensional loop. Be grateful for the process but don’t linger there.
Knowing the purpose of this dimension, I call this the Internal Vision. In Sacred Geometry, this would be also known as a tetrahedron. The tetrahedron is a Platonic Solid with 4 triangular faced sides creating 4 equilateral triangles. The word itself means “with four planes” and used to cut out and remove the unwanted, that which is not in harmony with our Divine Being. It brings new harmony to the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies.
The 4th Dimension added Internal Vision to length, width and height
As the observer, when we look at it from the side, we still see the cube from the 3rd dimension and an inverted tetrahedron is inside the cube.
The process of removing data from the box is to neutralize duality. We know that duality is an illusion created in the 2nd dimension but we have bought into duality as a core belief – hook, line and sinker. AND it was essential that we do so. We had to believe in it completely or we would not have been 100% submerged in the process. Our process of collecting data in the 3rd dimension was done by comparing every moment of our experience by whether it was Good or Bad. Each judgment we made was placed in the box. It didn’t take long to completely cover the Sacred place and the separation from our Divine grew wider.
When we received an experience that we had no past to compare it to and this made us VERY uncomfortable.so many times we labeled it as bad. This is a good reason why we don’t like CHANGE.
We started moving into and through the 4th when we ask on a conscious level for more than the daily experience or, to return to the box analog, the box is stuffed full and we are drowning in our judgments. It’s important to note that these dimensions have always been there for us and many ‘leaders of thought’ throughout history stepped into them, which in turn, showed others the way through, when they were ready to see.
- I would like to note that most scientific theories follow that time is the 4th dimension. This has never felt logical to me. We have been measuring time since the beginning of the 3rd dimension was created so how could it be added in the 4th?
The 5th Dimension
In the 5th Dimension, we become fully conscious and connected to our Divine. The physical being and the Divine Being are reunited as One – The Divine Embodied. The cube must be cleared of all data, all judgment in order for this reconnection to occur. There are no hidden subconscious agendas as they all have been fully integrated into the self. We don’t dissolve them, we merge with them. We are in infinite possibility with the physical to create
In the Fifth Dimension, external expansion is added to length, width, height and internal vision.
A second tetrahedron is added, which is pointing up and merging with the first.
This forms the Star Tetrahedron or Merkaba
The Star Tetrahedron is the unification of the Spiritual and the Physical, Heaven and Earth. It is perfectly balanced and stable. When activated, it is known as the Merkaba, the divine light vehicle allegedly used by ascended masters to connect with and reach those in tune with the higher realms. “Mer” means Light. “Ka” means Spirit. “Ba” means Body. Mer-Ka-Ba represents the spirit/body surrounded by counter-rotating fields of light, (wheels within wheels), spirals of energy as in DNA, which transports spirit/body from one dimension to another. In a later chapter, we will learn how to incorporate and sustain these fields into our aura field, which will accelerated the clearing of data and aligning our frequencies with the fifth dimension.
